i, of course, was just talking about rooting and tethering at breakfast before i read your post today ❤️ i hadn't explicitly articulated this for myself until this morning but i realized i have come to think of being rooted not as the place i am growing out of, but the place i am coming back to. where is my center? when i let my petals and seeds flit about in the wind, where ultimately do i want to come back to grow in, down, and out again? such a beautiful reflection as always, i love your words!! they have been such a blessing ✨✨✨✨
the roots idea resonates which you know - having lived in 5 cities since i left home i now root to people, or ideas, an emotion, sense or a song. but just for a while! i’ll take peace over that any day.
